On October 4, Maison des Ponts hosted the annual launch lunch for the Ponts Alumni international sponsorship program. Over a buffet lunch, sponsors, godchildren and goddaughters got to know each other in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

This program, aimed at international students enrolled in ENPC's diploma courses, offers each student personalized support from an ENPC graduate. The aim? To guide them throughout their studies, introduce them to French culture and provide them with support and advice, according to their needs.

This year's class includes 49 double-degree students of 12 different nationalities : 2 Argentinians, 1 Lebanese, 1 Burkinabe, 9 Brazilians, 1 Canadian, 10 Colombians, 1 Spaniard, 2 Greeks, 13 Moroccans, 1 Romanian and 4 Tunisians.

The event was also an opportunity for the steering committee - comprising Pierre Michaux (IPC 1978), Cédric Kervella (CIV 1995), Delfina Gallo (CIV 2022), Cristian Cabrera (MS 2004), Sarah Lérault (MBA 1999) and Juliette Rocca, Managing Director of Ponts Alumni - to unveil the year's program. On the menu: a visit to the "Paris 1925: Art Deco and its Architects" exhibition at the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine in November, plus a second surprise activity planned for April. Boris Rowenczyn (CIV 2003), President of Ponts Alumni and himself a sponsor, emphasized the importance of forging strong links within the international network of Ponts alumni.

There was also time for discussion on the key role of pairs in the internship search, the steps to follow and best practices for smooth, effective communication.
