Groupe SEMEPA/SPLA PAYS D'AIX TERRITOIRES will welcome members of the PACA regional group of the Ponts Alliance association

for a morning devoted to presenting and visiting the construction site of the Conservatoire de musique et de danse, as well as the de of Aix's new Cultural Forum, which brings together in the heart of the Sextius-Mirabeau ZAC a series of quite exceptional and innovative buildings (Rudy Riciotti's Pavillon Noir, Vittorio Vittorio's Grand Théâtre de Provence by Vittorio Gregotti, Archives départementales by Jean-Michel Battesti, Allées Provençales by Bernard Reichen, Gare routière by Jean-Marie Duthilleul -archi et X Ponts-), as well as ongoing developments and the 5* Marriott Hotel etc.

The ten-hectare site boasts some of the finest contemporary urban planning projects undertaken by SEMEPA in the Pays d'Aix region, all just a few dozen meters from the company's headquarters.

Schedule for the morning of July 5:

09:45 Welcome of participants in the SEMAPA exhibition hall, 4 rue Lapierre
Coffee and pastries

10:00 a.m. Introduction by Alexandre Gallèse, Deputy Mayor of Aix-en-Provence in charge of urban planning, general information on the development logic of the western part of the agglomeration and principles of the future Local Urban Plan.

On-screen presentation of the history and progress of the Sextius-Mirabeau project by Jean-Louis Vincent, Managing Director of SEMEPA, and Jean-François Roucole, Director of the Sextius-Mirabeau project.

Focus on the Conservatoire d'Aix by Kengo Kuma's direct collaborators, architects Diego Lopez Arahuentes and Miruna Constantinescu.

11:00 am - In situ discovery of the Cultural Forum and tour of the Conservatoire construction site, led by Jean-François Roucole, the architects and representatives of the Campenon-Bernard and Alquié companies.

12:30 - Lunch (venue to be confirmed)

SEMEPA Chairman Gérard Bramoullé, First Vice-Chairman of the Communauté du Pays d'Aix, is expected to say hello during the morning, or at lunch.
