Les Ponts alumni, are you ready to commit to social inclusion?
You are cordially invited to our event (Monday May 19 at 6:30 pm) to hear about our commitment to promoting scientific studies (particularly among high school girls and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds).
France needs more engineers, and we all know just how much this fascinating training offers professional fulfillment and a useful activity for society.
Our Charter has set itself the objective of "Promoting scientific training for the whole of society [...]... massively promoting access to scientific training and inclusion in this training (and in positions of responsibility) for all the diversity of French society: women and men on the one hand, disadvantaged social classes, diverse geographical (national, European and international) and cultural origins...".
Ponts Alumni has just signed an agreement with two wonderful associations (Article 1 and DTGE), which will be presented during the Webinar on Monday May 19th: we invite you to take part in their activities:
- Article 1 has 19,000 volunteers who support 150,000 students every year on their path to higher education
- DTGE (Des Territoires aux Grandes Écoles) works with students living in areas far from major cities to help them consider and prepare for studies at the grandes écoles.
Our action for promotion requires the commitment of comrades like you: a few hours a year to show how lucky you are to become an engineer can make all the difference for a young person who is undecided or disadvantaged by where he or she lives...
We're counting on your participation!
