To answer these questions, the X Mer, Ponts Maritime and Club Sup Mer groups, with the support of the YCF and UNCL, have invited Yves Lyon-Caen, President of the French Nautical Industries Federation and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Groupe Bénéteau, to a breakfast conference.Yves Lyon-Caen, President of the French Nautical Industries Federation and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Groupe Bénéteau, to a breakfast conference.

Yves Lyon-Caen, sixty-three, a former student of ENA (promotion Léon Blum), a graduate of IEP in Paris and holder of a law degree, has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Groupe Bénéteau since 2005. After starting out at the Ministry of the Economy and Finance, he became administrative and financial director of Inserm in 1980, agricultural advisor to the Prime Minister in 1982, and central director in charge of companies at Caisse Nationale du Crédit Agricole in 1985. In 1987, he joined the management board of Midland Bank, before being appointed deputy director of the Prime Minister's office in 1988, then CEO of Crédit National in 1990. Between 1994 and 2000, he was a member of Air Liquide's Executive Board in charge of Human Resources and Chemicals, and Chairman and CEO of Air Liquide Santé. Since 2015, he has also been Chairman of the Confédération du Nautisme et de la Plaisance.
