Wilfried Verstraete will explain the role of credit insurance, a key player in the development of companies, and give us his views on global economic trends as a stakeholder in inter-company trade.

Wilfried Verstraete has been Chairman of Euler Hermes since 2009. This subsidiary of the Allianz Group, headquartered in Paris, insures €1,000 billion in intercompany transactions and is present in almost 70 countries.

Previously, Wilfried was Chief Financial Officer of AGCS, Allianz's Munich-based subsidiary specializing in large corporate risks. Munich, Chairman of Atradius in Amsterdam, CFO of Mobistar in Brussels, Wanadoo in Paris and Orange in London (France Telecom Group). Prior to this, he held financial and operational positions in industry and services.

Wilfried holds degrees in economics from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, in management from VLEKHO in Belgium and from INSEAD. He speaks 5 languages and is a fervent supporter of Europe!
