Round table: Women engineers in the war economy

Round table with Claude Narboni and Laure-Agnès Lernout:

Women engineers in the war economy

Tuesday, November 25, 2025
from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

(welcome from 6:45 pm)

Following the start of the war in Ukraine in February 2022, President Macron called for a shift to a war economy.

To understand the implications of this, Ingénieures Grandes Ecoles invites you to a round-table discussion with a cross-section of the industry and the customer.

Claude Narboni and Laure-Agnès Lernout will present their backgrounds and insights on France and the war economy in the context of Europe and NATO, from the perspective of the Ministry of the Armed Forces and the defense industry.

A large part of the evening will be devoted to exchanges with the audience, and the round table will be followed by a cocktail reception to continue the discussion in a convivial atmosphere.

The speakers:

Claude is an armament engineer at the French Ministry of Defense. She is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the technical coherence of the short-range ground-to-air defense capability.

Laure-Agnès joined the defense industry in 2008, after 15 years of operational performance consulting in the automotive sector. She has held various positions in transformation, strategy and supply chain, and is currently in charge of issues relating to the war economy.

The round table will be moderated by Jeanne Lantz, construction engineer and President of Ingénieures Grandes Ecoles.
