Ponts Industrie conference with Nicolas Terraz, Managing Director E&P TotalEnergies

On June 11, we're delighted to welcome Nicolas Terraz, Head of Exploration and Production at TotalEnergies.

We'll be discussing a number of topics with him, including
- Total Energies' current Exploration & Production activities worldwide
- the challenges of decarbonization and the transformations undertaken by the Group in favor of the energy transition
- his own career path and the advice he can give to young (and not so young) people interested in industry and energy
- the profiles and talents sought by TotalEnergies after graduating from engineering schools.

The conference will take place at the Maison des Ponts from 7 to 8 pm (on site or by videoconference), and will be followed by a cocktail reception.

Nicolas Terraz biography
Born in 1969, Nicolas Terraz is a graduate of École polytechnique and École nationale des ponts et chaussées, and holds a Master of Science in Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Member of the Executive Committee since September 1, 2021.
Nicolas Terraz began his career with the French Ministries of Industry (1994-1997) and Public Works, Transport and Housing (1997-2001), before joining TotalEnergies in 2001.
After several positions in France and Qatar, he was appointed Managing Director of TotalEnergies E&P Myanmar (2008-2011), then Managing Director of TotalEnergies E&P France (2011-2014), Vice-President New Ventures E&P (2014-2015) and Managing Director of TotalEnergies E&P Nigeria (2015-2019).
In 2019, Nicolas Terraz was appointed Senior Vice President Africa and member of the Executive Committee of TotalEnergies Exploration & Production.
